1994	Our Company entered into PSCs for Hazira, Bhandut, Cambay, Sabarmati and Matar fields on September 23, 1994
1995	Commencement of production of natural gas from Hazira gas field
1998	GSPC and Niko consortium built a land based drilling platform (100x100 metres) in Hazira gas field, to accommodate 16 development wells
2000	Designated as operator of CB-ON-2 block (pre-NELP onshore block) in April 2000
2001	Our Company was awarded three exploration blocks in the second round of NELP
2002	Our Company was awarded one exploration block in the third round of NELP
2003	Our Company was awarded three exploration blocks in the fourth round of NELP
2003	GSPC and Niko consortium set up a six-legged offshore platform in Hazira gas field and drilled a development well by modular platform rig
2004	Discovery of oil in PK-2 well in CB-ONN-2000/1 block
2004	Our Company entered into long term purchase contracts with GAIL, IOCL and BPCL for gas imported by Petronet LNG Limited
2005	We were successful in bidding for gas from Panna, Mukta and Tapti fields and entered into a Gas Sales Purchase Agreement in this regard, in October 2006
2005	Discovery of gas in DDW in KG Block
2005	Our Company was awarded two exploration blocks in the fifth round of NELP
2006	Our Company was awarded nineteen exploration blocks in the sixth round of NELP
2006	Our Company was awarded two exploration blocks in Egypt
2006	Our Company was awarded three exploration blocks in Yemen
2006	Our Company was awarded three exploration blocks in Australia
2006	Designated as operator of North Hap’y block (deepwater block) in Egypt
2008	Discovery of gas in KG-22 well
2008	Declaration of commerciality for DDW, approved by the Management Committee

2008	Acquisition of 3,100 sq km of 3D seismic data in North Hap’y block (deepwater block) in Egypt

2009	Import of four LNG cargos from the international market
2009	Our Company entered into a long-term Gas Purchase Agreement with IOCL to purchase gas imported by Petronet LNG Limited

2009	GSPC became the first company to import LNG directly at PLL Dahej
